HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY TO YOU…LOVE GOD!

Society says this is the month and day for love to be expressed. However, love should be expressed daily on a consistent basis. Showing gratitude for family, friends, co-workers, employees, and business partners. What if God’s love was specific to a day? What if His love was conditional or more exuberant only at a certain time of the year, day, minute or moment? When you've had a dysfunctional childhood, experienced rejection in your adult life, or have been disconnected from a sensitive and comforting place in life; this day may bring gloom instead of happiness. I challenge you to take a step back and really inventory your feelings and the cause of your emotional state. Ask yourself "Do I love myself enough to feel love and happiness regardless of the day?" It's the simple things in life that we so often discount and overlook. We look and rely on it from another person and to often end up disappointed and discouraged because the outcome was not what we desired. I have a solution for you...
When we don’t love ourselves as God loves us and we rely on someone else to do what we should be doing (loving ourselves as Christ loves us), it causes a snowball effect of undealt with emotions. And our perception of a matter magnifies to the extent of our past experiences and history.

Let us take a minute and put the greatest love in perspective. If we embrace His love, then we will never be without love.
Who's “Love” is greater?
Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends (John 15:13).
He is always with us unconditionally!
The LORD, your God, is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing (Zephaniah 3:17).
His love empowers and causes us to succeed…say whaaat!
In all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:37-39).
He knows the cause of our faults and is always merciful!
But you, O Lord, are a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness (Psalm 86:15).
I'm all in! He made plans, perfect plans for my success!
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).

God’s love is the one and only love that is everlasting, sustainable by His word and ever comforting. It is without procrastination (it is not subject to our behavior or character).
It has no distinction to respect of persons (rank, creed, gender, in His circle out of His circle), without calculation (does not have a record of your wrongs, time in or timeout), and it is freely given without procrastination (it does not hesitate based on your look, smell, walk, deeds, thoughts).
God’s love is pure and vibrant always looking for us. So in this month, the day of “Love” love yourself as God loves you, and in doing this, you will shut the door to future emotional hurts and pains based on someone's performance or lack of.
Be good to yourself every day, don't wait for anyone's approval or special day to do so. The greatest gift is love, so give love today look for someone to bless and encourage.
God is love. He didn’t need us. But he wanted us. And that is the most
amazing thing. ~ Rick Warren
